    In 2006 I became a full-time strength and conditioning coach. Over the years, I’ve obtained many different certifications including but not limited to AFPA, NASM, Westside Barbell Dynamic Method, and I continue to seek out knowledge to learn and grow as a personal trainer.

    I’ve worked with people from many special populations such as tennis players, models, pregnant women, people coming back from injury, professional fighters, Zumba instructors, powerlifters, the elderly, etc.

    Being able to answer questions, definitively and explain why certain things work—and perhaps more importantly—why certain things don’t work, is a crucial part of my job.

    I have a deep understanding of strength and conditioning, which allows me to build personalized, precision training programs that help my clients meet their specific goals.

      I have never worked with a trainer like Alex before. Some trainers already have an idea of the types of exercises they want to do with you before they even hear what your fitness goals are. They select exercises based on THEIR comfort levels and their experience working on THEIR own bodies. Al is not like this. He works with his clients individual goals and needs to tailor workout plans that incorporate his vast experiential knowledge of the human body/musculoskeletal system, simple to insane exercises (with and without equipment), elements of martial arts/self-defense, and fun. He also explains how and why what he is asking you to do will help you achieve your goals. He listens, he teaches, and he pushes you when you can’t push yourself.
